Cornell President Elizabeth Garrett will deliver her first State of the University Address Oct. 23 at 9 a.m. in Alice Statler Auditorium during Trustee-Council Annual Meeting Weekend, Oct. 22-24. Her address will be live-streamed on CornellCast.

The Cornell University Board of Trustees will meet in Ithaca during its annual joint meeting with the Cornell University Council. The full board will hold an open session Oct. 23 from 1 to approximately 2:30 p.m. in 184 Myron Taylor Hall. A limited number of tickets will be available to the public at the desk in the Day Hall lobby.

The following committees also include open sessions; tickets are not required.

• The Committee on University Relations will meet in public session Oct. 22 from 2 to 2:30 p.m. in the Statler Hall Amphitheater.
• The Buildings and Properties Committee will hold a short open session at the beginning of its Oct. 23 meeting at 11 a.m. in the Carrier Grand Ballroom of the Statler Hotel.
